Behind the Scene
A few years ago I painted a small study of this scene as a warm-up before creating a full-size version. Well, it's been a few years but I finally got back to it. I remember that morning so well, walking through that fresh layer of early winter snow and enjoying the beauty of the morning sun rising through the trees lighting up the day.
