Rumba Riffs and Cobbled Character

This time of year in Canada, most of us start dreaming about heading south to spend some time in the sun. Havana not only enjoys a tropical climate, it is a painter's paradise despite—or perhaps, because of—years of neglect. It is filled with character and charm.

Painting inspiration comes from the dilapidated facades with colourful peeling paint, vintage cars, proud locals, cigars and daiquiris. Exploring on foot is the best way to take in Old Havana (a UNESCO world heritage site). Keeping an open mind, wandering along the narrow streets, talking to the locals, and helplessly falling in love with this incredible city is part of every visit.

Have a look at some paintings of this wonderful destination. If you have any questions about these or would like purchase information, don't hesitate to contact me.
