I was very honoured to receive the 1st Award of Excellence at the Society of Canadian Artists Be Square II exhibition in Toronto. It was a wonderful show by artists from across Canada who were given the challenge of creating artwork within the dimensions of either a 12" x 12" or 24" x 24" area.

The Society of Canadian Artists (SCA) is a national, non-profit artists’ organization dedicated to expanding the visibility and stature of the visual arts. SCA has representation in all of the visual arts media. They recognize the highest qualities in art through a program of awards, organizes and administers public exhibitions of the work of members and non-members, adhering to a standard of artistic excellence. Elected membership into the Society of Canadian Artists is though an adjudication process.
