Recently, I had the honour of painting this commission as a 50th anniversary gift for a very special couple. They met at a young age on Stoney Lake and would spend time together on this island with their friends and family as they grew up. I love how time at the cottage wraps around their history together and helped pull them together. It was a real treat to paint this.
