New Work: Winter's Muffled Silence

Have you ever noticed that special muffled silence that only happens in winter? This is a painting of just such a day... walking on a frozen lake with snow softly drifting down and only the sound of the squeaking snow underfoot. Breathing in fresh, cold air while surrounded by a vast open space—completely silent—is such a wonderfully peaceful, calm feeling.
