This quiet point of land caught my attention as the morning sun reached the tops of the pines, leaving the shoreline below wrapped in cool shadows. The water was calm and reflected the trees and sky so gently that everything felt connected.

It's a scene that many of us have experienced while paddling, fishing, or simply drifting along the shoreline. Nothing extraordinary was happening, but it's the kind of moment I dream about all winter long.
