I finished up a commission that’s been on the easel this past week...an absolute pleasure to paint.
It was painted from a photo taken by the client who passes this area every day. She said that the light, the trees, the atmosphere were special on this particular day and she has never seen it like this again. This painting is a reminder to never take anything for granted, to slow down and notice the beauty around us all, and to be grateful for all that we have. This is particularly on point after witnessing the terrible devastation from current hurricanes.
The new owner has aptly named this “Autumn’s Treasured Moment”, oil on canvas, 18” x 24”.
